Gobi Manchurian Without Soy Sauce & Spring Onion

INGREDIENTS

FOR GOBI 65

  1. Cauliflower – 1
  2. Ginger-Garlic paste – 2 tsp
  3. Corn flour – 3 tbsp
  4. Rice flour – 2 tbsp
  5. Maida – 2 tbsp
  6. Red chili powder – 1/2 tbsp
  7. Salt – 2 tsp
  8. Curd – 2 tbsp

FOR SAUCE

  1. Onion – 2
  2. Cabbage – 2 tbsp
  3. Ginger garlic paste – 1 tbsp
  4. Green chili – 3
  5. Tomato sauce – 2 tbsp
  6. Salt – 2 tsp

PROCEDURE

  1. Boil cauliflower florets with salt and turmeric powder in water for 2-3 minutes.IMG_5862
  2. Strain the water using a strainer. Remove the excess water using kitchen towel and keep it aside.IMG_5865
  3. Add all the ingredients under ‘Gobi 65’ and mix it well into a paste.IMG_5869
  4. Add the florets to it , coat the mixture well and allow it to soak.IMG_5870
  5. Meanwhile chop the veggies required for sauce.IMG_5879
  6. Heat oil in a kadai, Add onion, ginger garlic paste, green chili, cabbage and salt one after the other and saute it.IMG_5883
  7. Now add tomato sauce to it and mix it well.IMG_5885
  8. Mix corn flour in water and stir it.IMG_5891
  9. Pour it over the mixture in the kadai.IMG_5893
  10. Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the cauliflower florets.IMG_5900
  11. Keep the deep fried cauliflower florets in a tissue paper to remove the excess oil.IMG_5904
  12. Put the florets in the sauce and serve it.IMG_5936
